Skill Rebalance

    All of the skills in the ailment branch of the shot skills tree do extra damage if you successfully inflict an ailment with them. I don't know what exactly the amount is, but it seems to be around x2 or x3 the damage for some skills. I haven't confirmed it yet, but the damage bonus seems to be based on your DEX.

    Snipe seems like it got a crit rate reduction for bows, while the crit rate reduction for bowguns isn't as bad anymore. Bowguns also get +20% stability with snipe.

    Cross fire with a bow gets a damage increase based on your DEX, and with a bowgun it gets extra physical pierce based on your DEX.

    Knight's will also seems to have changed some, but it still doesn't appear to boost the aggro of non-knight skills, but all of the skills it affects are now listed as well as how they are affected.

    Bowgun cf pierce only for extra bullet right? Any idea how much pierce?

    Can I ask you a question? Does +aggro % affect knight skills? Like provoke or perfect defense? And does + aggro% past 100% work?

    So aside from fact that snipe is kinda nerfed, cf dmg ranges with dex, and multiplier fell to 0.5 scaling with dex, nothing else?
    CF/sat still good then?

    Provoke and p. Def have a fixed amount of aggro, the only way to increase them would be by taking Knight's will skill. Other skills are affected by aggro stat. And yes aggro doesn't really have a limit.

    Damage Difference
    without Ele weapon
    Enchant>Buster
    with Ele weapon
    Buster>Enchant

    STR = DEX
    Tempest Damage is Identical
    *best for farming mobs*
    -100% stab
    -1k cspd
    -secure hit vs dodge mobs
    conclusion DEX give dmg consistency

    Meteor Breaker DEX
    Both HIT is Almost identical DMG (in non graze attack)

    I still think it would be good. Snipe's crit reduction with a bow isn't too big of a problem considering most of its dps comes from crossfire, and snipe is mostly for armor break. With the new feature to the ailment skills, those could also add to a bow's dps. I'm not sure what the damage increase is, but if it is *3, that would mean arm break's effective multiplier would be 14.4 (4.8 * 3). That's also great because it gives people more of an incentive to inflict lethargy, which improves a party's survivability.

    You could also switch to a bowgun for dps if you wanted to. Bowguns were never awful for dps (apart from the lack of p. pierce), but they weren't quite as good as bows, so they got a bad reputation. With all of these buffs, I can imagine bowguns being one of the better dps classes.

    I see, cuz l was think of switching my main for archer but then this happened xD
    Last que, does armour break depend on crit -w-; )?
    I never really noticed so..
    Like of it didnt crit, would it still inflict armour break?

    Heck, Moeba hits 200k above, Smoke Dust around double that, Arm Break 600k at least. Also, 6M reachable with CF now.

    @Rizer phoenix ailment chance doesn't rely on crit rate. It does feel uncomfortable knowing that Snipe on bows have high chance of Miss if not using Meikyo Shisui. We only got too used to seeing crit Snipe and Armor Break together for a very long time.

    Use meikyou or smoke dust for snipe hit if the not 100% crit bother so much. Or both for crit resist boss. Meikyou to get enough cr for smoke dust, smoke dust to make snipe have always crit.
    Edit: I'm mistaken. It's perfect aim instead of always crit.

    I can see the boss turning its gaze on you. Alternatively, you can just use Meikyo before Snipe.

    I can already imagine the number skills being used at once xD

    Just saw an icon appearing after shukuchi, when sliding away. Idk if it was there before.
    Not a shukuchi icon, but a "Bushido" icon. Feels weird. It disapperas on next auto attack.

    Ed.: So after shukuchi slide away next auto-attack has increased damage (didn't notice any significant increase, tho). Also it counts into Garyo stacks when used, which is kinda helpful, but not epic.

    I think they buffed the crit dmg bonus for Spiral Air and forgot to mention in the notes. I checked the old skill description and weapon bonus and it’s different. 2h dosent have a CDMG penalty anymore and 1h has a new CDMG bonus.

    The buff also gives extra AMPR. I don't know how much, but it looks like it may be 50.

    Edit: You also get a damage reduction buff after using garyou.
