    Good to know...

Yesterday i skilled sober > lvl 10 and tested again...
Same results... Low or no mp regen in battle (running around)
And yes i see the "glow" effect on mp bars for mp regen...
Then testing attack-effect... I see a small improvement
    Between lvl5 and lvl10 sober....
But far away from 30 (sober) + (12 auto base) mp back
:-( --> feels like 12 (auto base) + 13 (ampr on stuff) mp
With sober lvl 10 and +13 Mp (stuff) i hit 3-4 times for
    1mp bar... Sry ...

    Mp regen:
Maybe you use magic charge (Vid.) and it triggers
with sober ...? Just a thought... Because your mp regen
Effect is much higher then mine ....
And maybe you have time to test the mp regen in battle
Without auto attack (only running around)?
Want to know if the stop effect of mp regen is my personal prob. ;-)

    Greetings tinu

    Yes I have been testing.
I did notice that Sober now stops charging if you're not attacking, but it will finish out whatever mp and glow you're supposed to get.

And it does appear that they may have lowered sober to +20. But I'm still testing and results are not fully conclusive yet.

This 2/24 update has screwed a lot of stuff up. So we're still dealing with the fallout.

And the "maybe magic charge triggers with sober"-thing
For better sober mp regen ...
    What do you think?

Thx for your great help and commitment :)
There are no news on my side, but
I rejoice about (over?) every news and test you post on the subject ...
So we wait for the update :-?
    Thx a lot

So 20, make sense, never get +42mp per normal attack at all.
Didnt used the char with lv10 sober for awhile, hope it wont be +3 all level next time I use it.

Here's my new findings. They did indeed nerf the hell out of sober.

    They did six horrible things:
    1. They moved sober from "to base" all the way down to "to total".
    2. They moved trigger from "to total", up to "to base".
    3. They lowered sober from +30 @10 (+3/rank) to +20@10 (+2/rank).
    4. The mp heal tick from 3 secs to 5 secs.
    5. The tick is +20 not +30, now.
    6. Sober healing ends when not attacking.
Basically, no more 100mp boosted Sobers and all thx to hackers, devs nerfed an otherwise well balanced, slightly underpowered skill.

    Before 2/28/16:
    ((Base+sober)+equips)×trigger & +30 mp/3 secs.

    After 2/28/16 update:
    ((base×trigger)+equips)+sober & +20 mp/5 secs.

Gosh, that would mean players who use Sober heavily now has to switch to Trigger instead.
AND that Sober now gives 20mp@10 means any build that rely on ampr to regen mp in fights are greatly nerfed. :(

    ((12+30)+8)×2=100 mp per hit
Was the max mp recovery I could ever get per hit.

    After update:
    ((12×2)+8)+20=52 mp

    Yeah pretty much.

So now we will have to take quickdraw too and use a full consecutive combo in second.

Jeez, this skill finally gets some time to shine and then, nerf! Guess only DW can get those 100 MP per auto-attack now (and they're so underpowered too).
    A few questions though, Muga:
    - Is the AMPR base always 12?
    - What did the hackers do, exactly?
    - (you do not need to answer this one now, I'll wait for the guide) Now that I must use Xtals/equips to raise AMPR, RIP DW AMPR crit builds?

    Idk.
DWs are designed to be kings of Eva and parry. They interrupt abruptly and land somewhat near mds in melee damage. Tho they don't hit as hard as mds, they are the fastest casters in the game, making proration extremely worth playing with in combos.

    1. Yes, it appears to always be 12.
    2. They used sober to find the address needed to change the +30 to +900 or something similar. I only watched the vid on the hack site. You can plainly tell its sober. Each heal tick reset you to full and every hit as well.
    3. Yes and no. Don't forget that there is still at least one survival lvl3 skill not yet released. And Quickdraw is what we need to take on top of sober to return is to what we were before the nerf. At least statistically.

So at +20 the number cant be changed but it can be changed at +30?
What kind of bs is that?

What is the triggering rate of Quick-draw pls?

    You mean Quick Draw?
Because Trigger got nerf wayyyyyyy harder that Sober, Sober only loose 2/3 of its power while Trigger moving from x2AMPR to flat +12AMPR.

Yeah I guess trigger did get ****ed.

Quickdraw is 30% per skill in a combo, until triggered. (I've never seen it work twice in the same combo, so correct me if I'm wrong.)

No. Lol. It would still work with the +20. Devs pretty much nerfed it as a "**** you" to the hackers. They solved the actual problem by making sober force a checksum every hit. (Hence why it stops working if you dc now.) If the ampr doesn't match; it gets flagged and you get banned.

    Yes.

    Best part:
They gave an oblivion for trigger
    But not one for sober.

They should just reset all skills and stats on all our chars.

Because, seriously, every single one of my chars have sober except my tech bs.
